As its name implies, it’ll let players quit the game, saving their progress where they last stood. In the impending 1.3 patch, players will be able to use the new “save and exit,” feature. It’s a controversial save system in a controversial game – but it’s one its developers are reneging on just a little bit. Many players have found this tiresome in an otherwise good RPG, as it means that it’s easy to lose hours of progress in the Bohemian landscape. So in the name of said historical accuracy, the game only lets players save the game when they rest at a bed, complete quest objectives or drink a hard-to-acquire item called Saviour Schnapps. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a game that prides itself on (possibly revisionist) historical accuracy.
